Today, we will introduce authentic shochu "Akune Biyori" - sweet potato shochu - Oishi Shuzo
Brewed by Oishi Shuzo in Akune City, Kagoshima Prefecture, this shochu has a cute blue bottle with a summery fireworks label. It is a sweet potato shochu with a mild, rich sweet base that gives the impression of honey or black honey, and a gorgeous aroma of Joy White and Hamakomachi, a sweet potato variety with a high aromatic content.
It is even more aromatic and tasty on the rocks with a light lemon wedge.
Aged for more than three years, it has a deep, rich, mellow flavor.
Please try it with our signature yakitori.
Enjoy grilled Koshu Shingen chicken grilled over binchotan charcoal with carefully selected sake, shochu, and wine.
